Harry D. Hamrick

October 2, 1942 ~ September 19, 2019 (age 76)


Harry D. Hamrick, 76 of Webster Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2019. He was born October 02, 1942 to the late Corley and Arzona McCartney Hamrick and lived the majority of his life in Webster County.

He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and digging ginseng, fishing, and listening to country music. He was a Christian, loved the Lord and attended church at Orndoff and Grassy Creek Community Church.

Harry is survived by his wife, Lulabel Utt Hamrick; son, Jerry (Christine) Hamrick; daughters, Lisa (Wallie) Price and Angie Norman; grandchildren, Larry Pritt, Justin Pritt, Shalton Hamrick, Corey Hamrick, Tyler Hamrick, and Tiffany Ritchie; numerous great-grandchildren ; brothers, Roger (Missy) Hamrick, Jerry (Jeanette) Hamrick, and Larry (Sharon) Hamrick; sisters, Belvia Langdon, Ina Cogar, Wilma Hamrick, Brenda Carpenter, Lorna (Bo) McCourt, Anita (Kent) Aleshire, and Drema (Wayne) Gray; brother-in-law, Ronnie Barbe; sisters-in-law, Betty Hamrick and Dora Hamrick; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Ritchie; brothers, Parris and Jimmy Hamrick; and sister, Velda Barbe.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday evening from 6-9 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday with  Brother Gary Cogar officiating.
