Charles Baughman passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the age of 71. Charles was born November 3, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV, to the late Nathan Baughman and Bessie Cogar Baughman.

   Charles was a long resident of Webster County and was a former member of the UMWA. Like most in Webster County he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

   Along with his parents, Charles is preceded into death by one brother, Lonnie Baughman. He is survived by his son; Nathan Curtis Baughman of Webster Springs, and two daughters; Kimberly (Steve) Scott, and Cheri McCourt, both of Summersville. He has four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

   There will be a graveside service for family at Baughman Cemetery on Wednesday, Sept 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Cofer Cochran officiating. Dodd & Reed Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
