Brenda Jo Helmick, 61 of Camden-on-Gauley passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at her residence.  She was born August 25, 1950 in Buckhannon to Ross and Mildred Mallette Robinson and was a caretaker.  She lived most of her adult life in Webster County and was Baptist by faith.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and reading.  She was a member of TOPS and Rebekkah Lodge. 

Brenda is survived by her husband William Larry Helmick of Camden-on-Gauley; sons Matthew (Erica) Butler of Newport News, VA and Leon (Stacey) Butler of Glenville; step-father O’dell Hamrick of Webster Springs; brothers Gary (Sue) Robinson, Rick (Joan) Robinson, Mike (Connie) Robinson all of Webster Springs, Jeff (Tammy) Robinson of Camden-on-Gauley, and Bobby Joe Robinson of Webster Springs; sisters Sue Wade of Upperglade and Sonya Robinson of Cowen; step-daughters Dianna (D.P.) Helmick of Clendenin, Jenny Hinkle of MD, and Tammy Helmick of Buckhannon; and 14 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM with Rev. Brandon Moll officiating.  Interment will follow in Cutlip – Lick Run Cemetery, Hacker Valley.
