Doris D. "Butchie"  Denna, 85,of Cowen, formerly of Cloumbus Ohio, passed away on January 4, 2012, at the VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV. afer a extended Illness.

   She was born in Nettie, WV. on Arpil 25, 1926, a Daughter of the late Cecil Denna and Elsie Bragg Denna. Also preceding her in death was a brother.

   Doris was a member of the United States Army and the United States Navy; she was a operator for AT&T and was of the Protestant faith.

   Survivors include sons; Ronald "Ron" Sayers of Cowen and Richard Sayers of Oak Hill; 4 grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren.

  Services will be held Saturday Janaury 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Adams-Reed Funeral Home Chapel. with the Rev. Carmel Sanson officiating.  Burial Will follow in Woods Cemetary near Cowen. Friends will be received Friday January 6,2012 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
